- Paper and Margins
Print the term paper on standard, white, 8.5x11 in paper and set all four margins to 1 in.
- Spacing
Double-space all content including quotations and the bibliography.
- Font and font size
Use a legible font and font size such as Times New Roman and 12 pt.

Leave only one space after a period and before the start of the next sentence.
- Paragraphs
Use the [Tab] key to indent the first line of each paragraph one-half inch from the left margin.

Include a header with your last name and a page number in the upper-right corner of each page.
- First page
Include each of the following on its own line in the upper-left corner page of the paper: your name, the professor's name, the course name and number, and the current date written in day, month, year format.
On a new line after the course information , center the title of the essay; italicize book titles such as Pride and Prejudice, but not underline or otherwise change the formatting.
